Helping children understand what they feel and what to do when emotions become difficult to manage.
Ages 8-10| 7 Weeks| Online
Children learn to notice their emotions and recognise what their body may be telling them (such as, “my heart starts beating fast”) and figure out what might be causing them to feel that way.
Through relatable scenarios, discussions, quizzes and activities they learn how to manage strong feelings, ask for what they need, and make better choices when emotions start to feel too big.
The aim: to help children understand what’s going on inside them, why it’s happening, and what they can do next.

Helping children make sense of what other people may be feeling and communicating.
This seven week programme will support children who often miss social clues, misunderstand someone’s reaction or aren’t sure what another person means.
Children will learn about different social cues, such as facial expressions, body language and tone of voice, and how to put these clues together to make sense of what another person may be feeling or communicating. This will help them to understand what is happening around them and work out the best way to respond.
The aim: to help children better understand what other people may be feeling or communicating, giving them skills that can support making friends, understanding others and building positive relationships.

Starting secondary school can be a big adjustment. Some young people take it in their stride whilst others struggle with the new routines, different teachers and greater independence. Their struggle may shows up as anxiety, meltdowns, or reluctance to go to school.
If your child seems overwhelmed because of change, this programme is designed to help.
Over seven weeks, young people explore what change means, how they respond when things feel different or don’t go as expected, and what helps them adapt. Through relatable scenarios, discussion and activities, they build a better understanding of their own responses to both expected and unexpected change.
The aim: to help young people feel steadier and more in control, with practical tools they can use whenever change feels hard and overwhelming, not just at secondary school, but going forward too.

Friendships at this age can have lots of ups and downs. One week your child may feel close to a friend, and the next they may feel left out, replaced or let down. A friend might start spending time with someone else, friendship groups may change, disagreements happen, or something shared in confidence may be passed on.
If your child takes friendship difficulties hard, struggles when a friend chooses to spend time with someone else, finds falling-outs difficult to move on from, or feels unsure about where they fit within a group, this programme is designed to help.
Over seven weeks, young people explore trust, friendship changes, jealousy, feeling left out, disagreements and group dynamics. They learn that friendships can change without always meaning something has gone wrong, that friends can have other friends, and that not every friendship difficulty means a friendship is over.
Through relatable scenarios, discussion and activities, young people develop a better understanding of what may be happening, consider different points of view and explore practical ways to respond when friendships feel difficult or uncertain.
The aim: to help young people feel more confident navigating the natural ups and downs of friendship, recover from social setbacks and develop the understanding they need to build and maintain healthy friendships, while also learning how to cope when friendships change.

Your child has friends, but never quite feels like they belong. They may move between friendship groups, feel left out when groups change, struggle to know where they fit in, or start changing how they behave just to be accepted.
Over seven weeks, young people explore friendship groups, belonging and changing relationships. Through relatable scenarios, discussion and activities, they learn how friendship groups form and change, how to recognise where they feel comfortable and accepted, and what healthy belonging can look like.
The aim: help young people understand where they fit within friendships, navigate changing friendship groups and build positive relationships without feeling they have to change who they are to belong.
