Superbunny & Me

A social skills pathway for children aged 4–7, designed to help children understand how friendships work, recognise feelings, and make confident, thoughtful choices in everyday social situations.

SuperBunny & Me is a story-led social skills pathway designed to help children aged 4–7 understand how friendships work, recognise feelings, and make confident, thoughtful choices in everyday social situations.

Each session follows a predictable, child-friendly routine. SuperBunny introduces a social topic, a simple Word of the Week, and a carefully chosen picture book. Stories are used to gently explore social situations, emotions, and choices in a way that feels safe, playful, and engaging for young children.

Stories are read aloud and explored together, making the programme accessible for children who find reading, comprehension, or social understanding more challenging.

Social Themes for Ages 8-10

Ages 8–10: Children follow theme-based programmes that explore managing emotions, building friendships, understanding others’ thoughts, and solving everyday social problems.

Sessions follow theme-based programmes that help children understand how social situations work, consider different perspectives, and make thoughtful choices. Learning is structured but supportive, with plenty of opportunity for discussion, reflection, and shared problem-solving.

Rather than telling children how to behave, the focus is on helping them understand the “why” behind social expectations, so they can respond in ways that feel confident and appropriate for them.

Themes may include managing emotions, building and maintaining friendships, understanding other people’s thoughts, and working through common social challenges in school and everyday life.

Themes explored may include:

These sessions help children begin to think ahead, reflect on outcomes, and understand why certain social expectations exist, supporting growing independence, confidence, and social understanding.
